Marquette pair ID’d by police
MARQUETTE — The two people discovered dead by police in a Marquette home along Sherman Street on Monday have been identified.
A press release from the Marquette City Police Department identifies the 31-year-old female as Adel Renee Winter and the 29-year-old male as Mark Alan Bibler II.
Officers were dispatched to a duplex at 911 Sherman St. around 8:10 a.m. Monday and found the bodies of the two Marquette residents, a press release from the police department states.
Authorities initially classified their deaths as “natural,” but few details have been released in the case.
The department’s police log from Monday cited the reason for dispatch to the 900 block of Sherman Street was due to “natural death.” Police explained this classification is used when the cause of death is unknown upon arrival to the scene.
Police said there is no danger to the public, but would not disclose any other details surrounding the incident.
Marquette police were assisted by UP Health System EMS, the Marquette City Fire Department, Michigan State Police Crime Lab and Northern Michigan University Police Department.
The cause of the deaths has not been released by police as of press time this morning.
