Paws Park officially opens at UPAWS
The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter’s year-round dog park Paws Park is officially open. The park, located at UPAWS’ new facility at 815 S. M-553 in Gwinn, is completely fenced in and has two separate entrances for large and small dogs. The park is open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. in the summer and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the winter months. To use the dog park you must have a permit. Memberships are available at UPAWS during regular business hours or owners can fill out a registration packet for the park online at upaws.org.
