City man missing for 2 weeks
MARQUETTE – Police are looking for assistance in locating a missing Marquette man.
Todd Michael Treadeau, 50, was last heard from Oct. 15 and was reported missing Sunday. Treadeau is a 5-foot-9-inch, white male weighing 215 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
“He was last seen … over a week before it was reported to us,” said Lt. Mike Kohler of the Marquette City Police department. “The last contact was via text message, it wasn’t in-person contact. As far as where he was last seen is debatable.”
Treadeau’s son, Marquette resident Thore Treadeau, said the last time he saw his dad was on Oct. 11, Thore’s birthday, when Treadeau gave him a few gifts and seemed completely fine.
The last he heard from him was a text message related to football around Oct. 15.
“He was just staying in touch; he usually gets a hold of me at least once a week,” Thore said.
The family is very concerned as Treadeau has never been out of contact with family members for so long or acted unpredictably like this before, Thore Treadeau said.
“There’s not a lot of information,” he said. “That’s why it’s so hard because he really kept to himself. He didn’t talk to too many people.”
Anyone with information about Treadeau is asked to contact Marquette police at 228-0400.
