REPUBLIC -- Republic Township voted overwhelmingly to renew its operating millage Tuesday.
In a 186-87 vote, residents renewed the current 4.9088 mills, or $4.9088 per $1,000 of taxable value.
The millage will remain in place until 2025.
The taxes collected during the first year of this renewal are expected to raise an estimated $331,630.
