HUMBOLDT TWP. — Humboldt Township residents voted 83-15 Tuesday to renew the sanitation millage which will run from 2023 through 2026.

The millage will be renewed at 1.5 mills, $1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value. The renewal will override the millage that had previously been reduced to 1.4916 mills, or $1.4916 per $1,000 of taxable value.

The millage is expected to raise an estimated $48,893.91 within the first year of the renewal.
