This drone shot offers a bird’s eye view of a decorated fire truck as it passes Santa’s Village on the corner of Main Street and Cleveland Avenue in Ishpeming on Friday during the city’s Christmas parade. Hundreds of people lined the streets for the parade. The evening’s highlights also included lighting the Christmas tree and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus. This year’s festivities were sponsored in part by Brett Anttila along with Ishpeming Community Events and the Ishpeming Lions Club. Sleigh rides and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be offered from 5-7 p.m. every Thursday evening through Christmas, according to the Ishpeming Community Events Facebook page.
