FELCH – The Superior Health Foundation traveled to Felch in early December to deliver some holiday cheer to North Dickinson County Schools. SHF proudly partnered with North Dickinson for the Painting the Peninsula Pink month-long event in October to raise money for its U.P.-wide Breast Health Fund. In helping secure day sponsors and promoting merchandise/uniform sales, North Dickinson earned $1,500 to be used toward a health-centered project in 2023.
“We were so incredibly thankful to partner with North Dickinson,” said Jim LaJoie, executive director of the Superior Health Foundation. “Our Pink Party in October, which showcased the Nordics varsity girls’ volleyball team, was phenomenal. We thank the school and the entire community for supporting our Pink fund-raising efforts.”
Funding is available to help both men and women with out-of-pocket breast health expenses not covered by insurance. To learn more and/or apply, visit https://superiorhealthfoundation.org/funds/breast-health-fund/
