Community Schools graduates 16 adults
ISHPEMING — On May 18 at St. John’s School in Ishpeming, 16 area adults received their high school diplomas from the Ishpeming-Negaunee-NICE Adult and Alternative Education Program. In its 54 years of service, the program has graduated 1,720 adults, according to Community Schools Director Bill Hartman.
Graduate speakers for the Class of 2022 were Krystilyn Apassingok and Samantha Steele, both of the Ishpeming School District. Hartman and Principal Jason Houle presented diplomas and Michael Bertucci, retired business owner, servec as master of ceremonies.
