Neil Traye, president of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 1852 donates a $825 check on behalf of the union to the Cheer Club. The union represents Marquette city employee chapters: city hall, department of public works and supervisors; Marquette Township chapters; Peter White Public Library chapters; Marquette Housing chapters; and the Marquette County Landfill. The Cheer Club collected unwrapped toys and gifts throughout the holiday season to be donated to local children and families in need through the Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul.
