Ocean Jars

Aug. 2, 3, 4, 10 a.m. -5 p.m.

Peter White Public Library Youth Services

Come into the Youth Services room to make an Ocean Jar with an underwater scene, then take it home for mesmerizing play! Register for a time slot at pwpl.info/events. Registration opens July 12. Masks and social distancing required. For youth of all ages. While supplies last. No admission charge. Funding is provided in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan. LEGO Pod

Friday, Aug. 6, 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 7, 10:30 a.m. – noon and 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Register your small group for a LEGO Pod time slot and come build with the library LEGOS! Your Pod will be assigned a room to build, LEGOS must stay in the room. All ages, at least 1 adult must be present. Masks are required. Registration opens June 1st. Call the Youth Services Department, 906-226-4323 to register for a Pod. No admission charge. Storytime in the Park

Join us for family storytime in the park! This interactive storytime is for families with kids of all ages. Join us for animal tales, songs, dancing and more! We ask that you bring a family blanket(s) to sit on to help create space for social distancing. Masks are required during storytime. Cancelled if raining. No admission charge. Join us on Facebook Live for summer Tails & Tales storytime! This storytime is great for kids of all ages. We will read stories, sing songs and more together! This storytime is different from our Storytime in the Park. There will not be a recording available for later viewing, so you will need to watch live. PWPL Kindness Club

The PWPL Kindness Club will be making dog treats! Participants will be making dog treats from peanut butter, so if you are allergy prone let us know ahead of time and we can give you a kit to make at home. Ages 8 and up.
