Filizetti appointed clinical director

MARQUETTE — Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice recently announced Roxanne Filizetti has been appointed as the agency’s clinical director.

Filizetti has worked with the agency since April, most recently serving as co-clinical director. She is a native of the Upper Peninsula from Gwinn, and has worked in the nursing profession for 26 years, many of those years as an intensive care unit nurse.

In 2007, she received her neuroscience certification and offered a successful Neuro Critical Care Conference for many years at UP Health System.

The last nine years she worked as a hospitalist registered nurse in a leadership role working for Sound Physicians out of Tacoma, Washington, where she worked in collaboration with the chief hospitalist and managed a team of physicians and nurse practitioners at UPHS.
