GINCC is rolling out events to keep you having fun and building connections all summer long.

Coming up this Sunday, July 15, Water Warrior Island is hosting a GINCC Member Day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you work at a GINCC member business, you’re able to take advantage of this awesome deal. Only $10 for a one hour session on the Island or do the GINCC Warrior Package for $20 and get two 1-hour sessions on the Island along with a scoop of Jilbert’s ice cream

Kayak and paddle board rentals are at discounted rates as well, $10 for 1-hour rental or $15 for 2-hour rentals. This offer extends to your friends and family, so bring them along! Water Warrior Island is located on Lake Michigamme at Van Riper State Park. Call (906) 250-4060 for more information.

Tuesday, July 17 will be an Open House celebration for Signs Now of the Upper Peninsula from 4-7 PM. Cheers to 20 Years! They will be celebrating 20 years in business “Cheers” style. This isn’t going to be any old networking event, it will be a full-blown celebration.

Come enjoy pub food, drinks, prizes, and fun at the Signs Now facility, located at 363 U.S. 41 in Negaunee. Each guest will also walk away with a surprise commemorative gift (Cheers theme of course). Come meet the people behind Signs Now and get a tour of their facility and learn a variety of ways they can help enhance your business!

While you’re at it, take a picture with the “Cheers” cast. 20 years in business is something to celebrate, so we hope you’ll join the party. This event is free for the public to attend.

Summer Business After Hours are lined up as well! Join us on Wednesday, July 25 for a Maple Ridge Resort Business After Hours, hosted at Cognition Brewing Company from 5 to 7 p.m.. Maple Ridge Resort is located on Lake Michigamme and is the perfect getaway for anyone.

Whether you’re into fishing, hiking, or just some solitude on the lake, you will find serenity here. They will have food, drinks, and prizes so come stop by and meet the awesome owners behind the resort! On Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m., Hilltop RV Superstore in Ishpeming will host a Business After Hours at their facility.

They’re going to have their famous cookout, so come hungry. This year, they’re holding a bucket raffle with all benefits going towards the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter. Kori Tossava, executive director of UPAWS, will be in attendance to talk about their new shelter and answer any questions.

There will also be live music entertainment! Every Business After Hours is free to attend, and the benefits are priceless. Come check them out!
