This photo I hope would obviously not have been taken by me, as it is quite obviously an oldie. This must have been a truly heavy winter and before it was cleared on Elm Avenue, like in front of where Gallery Coffee company is situated.

Looking at these prices, we might all want to find where this grocery store is. Although, keep in mind that an average wage was probably $50 a week. No doubt all in line.

This a definitely a “remember when,” which used to on occasion happen on Superior Street here in Munising after an exceptionately heavy rain. All the basements in these business places would be heavily flooded when this happened. All these business places are long gone, and in fact as most of the buildings are, too. I believe this was in the 1950s.
