To the Journal editor:

Last fall, the county road that we call the Stoneville Road between Tilden and Ishpeming townships was redone.

I don’t know the name, but the company that was in charge did an excellent job. It is better now than it was before.

In addition to resurfacing, they also created run off areas where the water would go off the road and onto the grassy side. This will help to keep the roadway in good shape and will extend the life of the road.

They also installed new guard rails, new culverts and seeded along exposed grassy areas. I feel it is appropriate to commend a job well done.
