Hidden Gem celebrates Negaunee grand opening

NEGAUNEE — Hidden Gem Restorative, a unique boutique healing practice nestled at 327 Iron Street Negaunee, announced its official grand opening.

The Lake Superior Community Partnership celebrated the occasion with a ribbon cutting.

Soulful proprietor Kim Nixon Hainstock, a seasoned healer with over two decades of experience, welcomes the local community to Hidden Gem. Healing arts are offered by appointment at the boutique, complemented by a pop-up shop on select days.

Officials celebrated the grand opening Friday, Oct. 13 at noon,followed by an open house until 6 p.m., allowing attendees to explore this unique healing haven.

Nixon has a diverse background, including studies at the Institute of Natural Therapies in Paavola, Michigan, under the instruction of Hal Rudnianin in the fall of 2003.

She also holds a writing degree from Northern Michigan University and is a trained yoga Instructor.

Nixon said she was excited about the new location.

“Now that summer has passed and we have sidewalks and solid streets, it is time to celebrate our new location on Iron Street in Negaunee, Nixon said. “Finally, a street-level practice with windows and signage in a supportive community with a healthy downtown district surrounded by other supportive business owners and establishments–It feels vibrant–and the creative possibilities are endless.”
