MARQUETTE, — Bellin Health launched its brand-new primary care practice in Marquette on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

The practice announced scheduling is open for clinic appointments starting this month.

“We are thrilled to be introducing primary care to the Marquette community, expanding Bellin’s reach to improve care for the people who live, work and play in that area,” said Bellin Health Vice President of Primary Care Kathy Kerscher. “We look forward to helping residents live their healthiest lives, working proactively to improve health and finding solutions when issues arise.”

The primary care practice is anchored by Dr. Christopher O’Connor, MD, MPH.

O’Connor is board certified in Family Medicine and practices full spectrum Family Medicine, which involves a focus on the whole patient and whole family.

“It is an honor for me to serve the people of Marquette and the surrounding areas,” O’Connor said. “Working together, we can create a healthier future for the individuals and families who call this community home.”

In Sept. 2022, Bellin introduced its cardiology services to the Marquette community, opening its Bellin Health Cardiology Associates – Marquette location in Suite 390 of the Peninsula Medical Center building at 1414 W. Fair Ave. Bellin’s new primary care practice shares that address.
