IRON MOUNTAIN — A man wanted on drug charges in Iron County was located in Las Vegas, Nevada, and extradited recently to Michigan.

Donald Kurth is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and absconding from justice, according to the Iron County Prosecutor’s Office. He was located and identified by officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department while they were investigating an unrelated crime.

Kurth was held on a Michigan State Police warrant while arrangements were made for his transportation back to Michigan.

He was arraigned Sept. 19 in Iron County and lodged in the Iron County jail on a $350,000 cash bond.
