LL-H board member resigns

LAKE LINDEN — Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools’ Board of Education is looking for a new member.

The board accepted Trustee Stacey Sedar’s resignation at Monday’s meeting. Sedar has been on the board for several years. In her resignation letter, Sedar said the decision was strictly for personal and professional reasons. She hopes to continue working with the district in other ways.

“This has been a very difficult decision for me, as I am a very strong supporter of the Lake Linden-Hubbell School District and very proud Lakes alum and fan,” she wrote. “I have enjoyed my time on the board. It has been a very fulfilling experience.”

The vacancy must be filled within 30 days, Superintendent Brad Codere said. People have until noon Oct. 22 to apply to the district.
