HOUGHTON — The Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications to the 2022 Leadership Keweenaw Program. The program, which offers participants an opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills and networking opportunities, will begin in January and run through June 2022.

Enrollees accepted into the program will participate in six full-day sessions or one session per month. Each session will feature topic experts and interactive activities reinforcing key leadership skills in finance, communication & culture, strategic planning, emotional intelligence, community engagement, and human resources. The program is intended to assist individuals in developing leadership skills in demand by local employers and community organizations. Program organizers seek applications from interested parties with a wide array of skills and experiences. Individuals who satisfy the program’s requirements will be awarded a certificate of distinction and admitted into the Leadership Keweenaw alumni.

Applications for the program must be submitted to the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce no later than Nov. 30. Space is limited, so interested parties are encouraged to apply early.

If accepted into the Leadership Keweenaw program, enrollees or their employer/sponsor will be responsible for a tuition fee covering all program materials and meals. The cost of the program is $300 for Chamber members and $400 for non-members.
