Storm slows office operations

GLADSTONE — The Rapid River and Manistique Ranger District business office of the Hiawatha National Forest has experienced significant storm damage, with phone and internet services down for the foreseeable future, officials said in a news release.

The Rapid River and Manistique Ranger District office is directing business transactions, including map sales and Interagency Pass sales to the supervisor’s office and/or the Munising office for the foreseeable future.
