Semi driver arrested after accident
MARQUETTE — The driver of a semi-tractor was arrested following a traffic accident in Watersmeet Township.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Wakefield Post responded to a report of the truck jackknifed on U.S. 45 and Bass Lake Road which was completely blocking the highway around 3 a.m. today, a press release from the MSP Wakefield Post states.
The driver was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. He was transported to the Gogebic County Jail.
