MARQUETTE — Music on Third in Marquette has been canceled due to the projected weather forecast, according to the Marquette Downtown Development Authority, which organizes the event.

No makeup date has been set, but upcoming Music on Third events are expected to be held from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 15 and Sept. 20.

“With the unpredictable weather we’ve had this summer in Marquette, I’m grateful this is the first time we’ve had to cancel Music on Third this year,” Tara Laase-McKinney, MDDA promotions and events coordinator, said in a press release. “We’re looking forward to a great August and September edition of Music on Third, and will hope for nicer weather.”
