Audience members (21 and over) may attend for a $5 cover charge and purchase cheats and “bet” on their favorite spellers.

Team sign-in opens at 5:30 p.m. the Bee starts at 7 p.m. sharp.

In the first rounds, teams will spell together until six teams remain. Those teams will move on to the final rounds where contestants will compete as individuals.

A winner will eventually immerge and a team will also be crowned with an award for team spirit. Costumes are encouraged. A cash bar featuring Blackrocks Brewery beer, wine and soft drinks will be available.
