MARQUETTE — Bill Anderson, of Marquette, and Barb Wilcox, of Brimley, were married at the Central United Methodist Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, on April 20, 1963, and are celebrating 60 years of marriage.

Celebrating them are their five children, Susan (Chris) Schultz, Carol (Rick) Becker, William (Ammer) Anderson, Marijane (Joe) Strohbusch, and Barbara (Andrew) Gooch, as well as 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

They have spent most of their 60 years together living in Marquette where Bill spent his career as a Fisheries Biologist working on the Sea Lamprey Control program with the US Fish & Wildlife Service, and Barb was a waitress at the Northwoods Supper Club for 35 years.
