ISHPEMING — Jeff and Tonya Nicholas of Ishpeming announce the engagement of their son, Joshua Theodore Nicholas of Lakewood, Colorado, to Holly Marie Wilmes, also of Lakewood.
Holly is the daughter of Matt Stuke of Red Wing, Minnesota, and the late Mary Wilmes.
The bride-to-be is a 2015 graduate of Omro High School and a 2019 graduate of Michigan Technological University with a bachelor of science degree in medical laboratory science. She is employed as a medical technologist at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado.
The groom-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Westwood High School and a 2017 graduate of MTU, earning a bachelor’s degree in forestry. He is account manager at ColoradoScape in Littleton, Colorado.
The couple is planning to wed Aug. 12.
