January Kids Take & Make Kit Pickup

Monday, Jan. 4. 10-11 a.m. and 4-5 p.m., Peter White Public Library parking lot doors.

January Kits include everything you need to participate in Cupcake Wars! Bake, decorate, and share a picture of your completed masterpiece. For youth ages 4-12. No registration for this program, kits are available first come, first serve. To pick up during these times, come to the PWPL parking lot doors. After these two pick up times, any leftover kits will be available by stopping by the library during business hours and calling the Youth Services Department, we will run a kit out to you. Join us for Toddler Storytime on Facebook Live this winter! Tuesdays and Wednesday at 10:15am, this storytime is geared toward children 36 months and younger and a loving adult. We will read stories, sing songs, learn new rhymes and fingerplays! This storytime will not be available as a recording, so you will need to watch it live. Preschool Storytime: Facebook Live

Chapter Book Club “My Father’s Dragon”

Jan. 5, 12, 19. 2-3 p.m., Zoom.

School-aged children, particularly those who are being homeschooled, are invited to join our new Chapter Book Club. The first book we will read for the month of January is “My Father’s Dragon” by Ruth Gannett. Advanced registration is required, as participants will need to pick up a kit with the materials they will need for the duration of our January meetings. Muggles for Potter

Harry Potter fans in 2nd and 3rd grade are invited to join our Muggles for Potter group! Meetings will be virtual on Zoom. This month we will be reading the story and enjoying wizardly coloring sheets, butterbeer and every flavor jelly beans from our Magic Boxes.
