Marquette Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony held

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Music Scene held the 2020-21 Marquette Music Hall of Fame induction and party on Nov. 27 in the Masonic Red Room in downtown Marquette.

Class of 2020 inductees were Jack Bowers and Donne Langlois. Class of 2021 inductees were Mark Johnson, James Cohen, and the Marquette Area Blues Society, with founding member Walt Lindala, director Mark Stonerock and president Mark Hamari.

The Hall of Fame was founded in 2017 to honor the Marquette area’s music history. The organization also awarded the Music Mafia award to Sonja and Mike Stucko, who play a role in keeping the music scene alive.
