Marquette Restaurant week

By Journal Staff

MARQUETTE — Restaurants in Marquette’s downtown district will offer special deals starting Sunday as part of the sixth annual Marquette Restaurant Week.

The deals run through March 10.

The week is organized by participating restaurants of Marquette’s Eastside Originals group, which consists of independently owned and operated restaurants within Marquette’s east side, according to the Marquette Downtown Development Authority’s website.

Around 20 restaurants are listed on the website as participating, and include several along Washington, Third and Front streets in Marquette’s downtown district.

Restaurants participating in the week will offer $10 fixed-price lunch menus and select dinner meals for $25.

“Restaurant Week provides the community the opportunity to experience a wide variety of culinary opportunities for foodies to enjoy,” the DDA’s website states. “Whether it is fine dining, local seafood, and artisan baked goods, pub grub, authentic ethnic cuisine or just a good sandwich, enjoy these Eastside gems at an affordable price.”
