Plus One recognizes local businesses for job creation
MARQUETTE — Forty-five Marquette County businesses collectively created 257.5 new jobs in 2021 and are being recognized for their participation through the Plus One Program sponsored by the Lake Superior Community Partnership and Upper Peninsula Michigan Works!
Upper Peninsula Michigan Works! and the Lake Superior Community Partnership’s Plus One program is a program designed around the premise that an employer adding just one employee contributes to economic development in Marquette County. Since the inception of the program 15 years ago, Marquette County businesses have created 4221.5 jobs.
