Hoover’s Tree Service of the Marquette area and Rainbow Charters of Grand Marais are the newest members of the Alger County Chamber of Commerce.

Established in 1983, Hoover’s Tree Service offers expertise in tree removal and trimming, stump removal, scenic view cuts, trimming and removal of bushes and hedges, and more. Owner Ray Hoover earned an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist credential, the highest classification one can earn in the field.

Hoover works directly with the owners of each property and offers free estimates. Online reviews commend him for the professionalism he portrays along with doing a thorough cleanup job at the sites he’s worked at. Rainbow Charters offers half-day and full-day excursions, targeting Lake Trout from the world’s largest freshwater lake. Patrons are advised to bring layers of clothing, sunscreen, and anything else that’ll ensure they’re comfortable during their trip.
