Fust, Irish promoted at firm

MARQUETTE -- The firm of Makela, Toutant, Hill, Nardi & Katona, P.C. recently announced the following promotions:

Charles A. Fust, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Auditor. Charles graduated magna cum laude from Northern Michigan University with bachelor's degrees in accounting and economics in December 2016. He joined the firm's audit department in January 2017 and received his Certified Public Accountant's license in 2019. He is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Fust resides in Marquette with his wife, Emily, and sons, Emmett and Anthony.

Daniel J. Irish, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Tax Accountant. Dan graduated magna c

um laude from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in mathematics in December 2017. He joined the firm's tax department in December 2017 and received his Certified Public Accountant's license in 2020. He is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Irish resides in Ishpeming.
