IRON MOUNTAIN – Gundlach Champion Inc. was awarded the contract for the expansion of the Iron Mountain manufacturing plant of Boss Snowplow. Both Boss Snowplow and GCI are headquartered in Iron Mountain. The project is an expansion of the plant’s storage space to allow for the growth of their manufacturing operations.

Gundlach Champion President Stan Kaczmarek said in a news release: “This is a great opportunity to work with a neighbor looking to expand their capabilities and provide more jobs in the community. The project also creates jobs for our local construction employees and opportunities for people just getting into the trades to work on a manufacturing project.”

Gundlach Champion, Inc. is the marriage of two firms: Herman Gundlach Inc. founded in 1898 and Champion Inc., founded in 1921. For over a century, GCI has been providing preconstruction and project delivery systems to the commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and public facilities markets throughout the Upper Peninsula and the Midwest.
