This fall, Van Riper State Park will be hosting its annual Harvest Fest on back-to-back weekends. The slate of events will be held Sept. 13-15, and Sept. 20-22.

The Van Riper State Park Facebook page reads, “Join us for a wicked good time at the Harvest Fest Weekend! From ghostly dances to trick-or-treating, hayrides to campsite decorating contests, we will try to spook you with all our events. Be sure to bring the whole family, as there will be activities for everyone! A detailed schedule will be released at a closer time to the event. Activities are for both campers and visitors. During trick-or-treating, the Modern campground will be closed to all vehicular traffic. Please plan accordingly. This event will happen rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather (severe storms, temperatures, etc), park staff may adjust event schedule or cancel activities entirely.”

A Recreation Passport is required.

Starting at $4.62/week.
