‘Odin’s Eye,’ is time travel novel set in Marquette

MARQUETTE — From 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, a presentation on “Odin’s Eye,” a time travel novel set in Marquette, will take place in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

This novel takes readers on a journey from the coronavirus pandemic of 2021 into Marquette’s past and forward into its future.

“I have often wished I could invent a time machine to visit Marquette’s past,” says author Tyler Tichelaar. “So, I did the next best thing — I wrote a time travel novel.

“Most historical fiction, when well written, is like a time machine, and blending science fiction with history makes for an intriguing tale.”

Please read this book prior to Tyler’s presentation as the presentation will be so much more interesting.

Presenter: Tyler Tichelaar, author. $5 members, $10 non-members. Liaison: Julie Higbie, 906-361-5370, jhigbie@nmu.edu.

The event size is 70.
