Homelessness talk planned

MARQUETTE –The Marquette Branch of the American Association of University Women is dedicated to addressing critical community issues and invites everyone to an in-depth discussion on homelessness in Marquette County.

The discussion will be on Thursday, Nov. 9. Speakers Michelle LaJoie, executive director, and Ashley Sellnow, emergency housing director, of Alger-Marquette Community Action, will share insights into the challenges faced by the unhoused in our community.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Marquette Area Federation of Women’s Clubs Clubhouse, located at 104 W. Ridge St., Marquette, on the corner of Ridge and Front streets.

This event is open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend and learn more about this pressing issue and the efforts being made to address it.
