Marquette Regional History Center to host annual event

The Marquette Regional History Center will play host to its annual Holiday Art Sale on Nov. 11. The event, now in its 23rd year, is a tradition for local residents and visitors alike seeking good deals on quality art. MARQUETTE –The Marquette Regional History Center and City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center, announce the 23rd Annual Holiday Art Sale from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11.

The sale will take place at the Marquette Regional History Center, located at 145 W. Spring St. in Marquette.

The hstory center is a destination, providing holiday shoppers with access to world-class exhibits. The museum will hold an old-fashioned bake sale, its annual Dollhouse Days, a membership drive and the history center gift shop will be open for the event.

The following artists will be selling their work: Penny Mellen, Ann Golden, Judy Parlato, Jenny Frein Hamel, Candace Prill, Mary Ann Theis, Mavis Farr, JoAnn Shelby, Alec Dawn Lindenberger, Kristi Leigh Difulvio, Abby Petersen, Sarah Reynolds, Molly Wallen, Monica Zehnder, Chrysande Levesque Hendrick, Neil Harrison, Karen Tembreull, Susan Estler, Jason Limberg, Heather Lindquist, Cindy Engle, Julie Highlen, Shantina Hatfield, Marlene Wood, Sandy Weber, Samara Floral & Rock River Farms.

There will be a $2 admission fee, which includes entrance to the Holiday Art Sale, MRHC exhibits, and all other activities. All proceeds support the MRHC, a private, non-profit 501c3 and community gem.
