NEGAUNEE — Negaunee Public Schools’ Lakeview Elementary School has scheduled its junior kindergarten-kindergarten registration for the 2023-24 school year.

An informational-registration meeting for parents is set for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 at Lakeview Elementary School cafeteria.

The child’s age requirement is to be age 6 by Dec. 1. In accordance with Michigan law, parents may need to complete a waiver if they choose to enroll their child who reaches age 5 between Sept. 1-Dec. 1.

Parents should provide the following at the time of registration:

≤ Proof of residency (driver’s license, piece of mail, utility bill, etc.)

≤ State-issued birth certificate

≤ Immunization records

≤ Current photo of the child
