Hinkson named vice president business banking officer at Range Bank

MARQUETTE — Range Bank has announced that Jeremy Hinkson has joined its team as vice president business banking officer. He comes to the bank with “extensive experience in the financial industry, specifically assisting business clients with their lending and banking needs,” officials said.

“I am very pleased to announce Jeremy joining Range Bank, which will broaden our business banking team,” said Roxanne Daust, chairman, president and CEO, Range Bank, in a statement. “His experience with businesses, entrepreneurs, and civic organizations in Marquette County, along his passion for community banking made him a great fit for our growing team. His approach of personalized, quality service fits our culture, and we know that is a differentiator in our community.”

Hinkson is a native of Manistique and holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University. He has over a dozen years of experience in banking, with the majority of that time in commercial lending. During his career, he graduated from the Michigan Bankers Association’s Commercial Lending School.

In addition to his responsibilities with Range Bank, Hinkson is active in the community and outdoors. He is a nationally recognized mountain bike racer and gives back to the sport by serving as a Noquemanon Trail Network Trail Ambassador. He also is an advocate for his children, as he regularly volunteers at their schools and shares his biking passion with them, as they too are active in the sport.

“Having been a part of this community and the financial services industry for many years, I’m very enthusiastic about continuing to make Range Bank the bank of choice in our community,” Hinkson said in a statement.
