MARQUETTE — Range Bank recently announced that Bethany Cody has joined its team as vice president marketing officer. She comes to the bank with extensive marketing and PR experience in the financial and real estate industry, officials said.
In this position as vice president marketing officer, she will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department and play an integral role in determining overall strategic marketing directives and initiatives for the bank.
“Bethany is creatively driven and highly collaborative, which makes her a strong cultural fit,” said Roxanne Daust, chairman, president and CEO of Range Bank, in a news release. “In addition, she is passionate about community banking, which made her a natural addition to our growing team.”
Cody is a native of Negaunee and holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University.
During her career, she has earned a diploma from the American Bankers Association School of Banking, Marketing and Management and has served on the Michigan Bankers Association Marketing Committee since 2015, where she previously served as chair.
In addition to her responsibilities with Range Bank, Cody serves as a member of the Marquette Township Planning Commission.
She also volunteers at various activities and school sporting events her two sons participate in.
“I am looking forward to using my previous experiences and new ideas to help Range Bank build upon their well-established brand,” Cody said in the release. “Having been a part of this community and the financial services industry for many years, I’m very enthusiastic about continuing to make Range Bank the bank of choice.”
