MARQUETTE — Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is offering a Diamond Painting Class and Project on Nov. 8.

Learn the ins and outs of diamond painting. All tools and project materials are provided. Diamond painting is a form of mosaic art where you apply shiny resins (plastic beads or diamonds) onto a pre-glued canvas to complete the painting. Similar to a paint-by-numbers concept, this craft requires no artistic skills and is a fun and relaxing way to create something beautiful.

The class is set for 1-3:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at 703 Chippewa Square, Marquette. Cost: $3 NCLL members and $10 non-members, plus $15 for project materials (paid to Theresa Sell). Call 228-8051. Registration deadline is Monday.
