MARQUETTE, MI – Dorothy J. Weiland, 97, of Marquette, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. A memorial service will held at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Tom Merkel officiating. The Upper Peninsula Nurse’s Honor Guard will provide a ceremony. A luncheon will follow the service in the reception hall. Burial will be at Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Bay Cliff Health Camp, PO Box 310, Big Bay, Michigan 49808. Where she was a huge supporter.
