TRENARY, MI- Walter Michael “Mike” Gendzwill, age 95, of Trenary, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS), 815 South M-553, Gwinn, MI 49841.

Honoring Mike’s wishes, no public services will be held.
