MARQUETTE, MI-Ruth Helen Ranta, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 10, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, August 21, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home’s reception room. Interment will be made in the Negaunee Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to UP Home Health and Hospice.
