MARINETTE, WI/MUNISING, MI-Jakob William Bowerman, age 13, of Marinette, died on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin after succumbing to injuries due to a tragic drowning that took place on August 20th in Marinette.

Services will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home in Munising on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Pastor Jason LaFlamme will conduct Jakob’s funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising at a later date.
