MARQUETTE, MI-Christine E. ‘Chris’ Heiskanen, 74, of Marquette, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 20, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and under the compassionate care of U.P. Home Health and Hospice.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 29th from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at St. Peter Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Brandon Oman officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the mass in the parish hall.
