Wildcat wrestlers 3-1 at Tiffin Duals

TIFFIN, Ohio — The women’s wrestling team at Northern Michigan University won three of four matches at the Tiffin Duals meet held at the Ohio school’s campus on Saturday. The Wildcats defeated Lourdes, Hiram and Frostburg while falling by just two points to Otterbein. Among the contested matches, the Wildcats were just as dominant, winning 19 of 24. NMU has matches over the next three weekends, starting with the Mike Duroe Invitational in Mount Vernon, Iowa, on Saturday morning, before taking three weeks off to prepare for its NCAA regional meet on Feb. 21. MARQUETTE — Usually with a vast majority of its meets being on the road, this season the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams at Northern Michigan University are giving their home pool at the PEIF a real workout. NMU women’s soccer to hold Winter Prospect ID Camp

MARQUETTE — The women’s soccer team at Northern Michigan University will hold its Winter Prospect ID Camp in mid-March at the Superior Dome and the NMU Soccer Field in Marquette. This camp is intended for high school-aged girls and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 15. Campers have the opportunity to play small-sided and full-field games while showcasing their abilities in front of the Wildcats’ coaching staff, who will also conduct coaching with those attending.
