Project 2025, written and funded by the ultra conservative Heritage Foundation is online, and easy to access. Every American should read it. During his campaign, Trump denied knowledge of Project 2025, and said he wasn't going to read it after polls indicated that it was unpopular, even among MAGA Republicans. On the evening of June 12, Israel launched a series of major strikes against Iran. Not surprisingly, Netanyahu declared success, the Iranian officials swore revenge and leaders across the region braced for unrest. For decades, Line 5 has been the critical connection for Michigan, Ohio and parts of the Midwest to receive gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and propane. Restricting Line 5 would have devastating impacts not only for the communities that host refineries but for the millions of people who rely on the energy it safely delivers every day.
