State offers naloxone kits for drug overdoses

The state is making available — at no cost — kits for treating a drug overdose, when minutes can make the difference between life and death. For National Consumer Protection Week, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel again is warning about fraudsters’ growing use of artificial intelligence — such as deepfake audio and video — to take advantage of consumers.
