By DEVI SHASTRI AP Health Writer Deadly flooding from Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina has also disrupted the underground nests of yellow jackets, bees and other insects, causing them to swarm and sting people struggling to recover from the storm. Staff reports Michigan State Police Negaunee Post are conducting an investigation into a missing person in Alger County. 65-year-old John Michael Kueber is a white male, approximately 6-foot-2-inches tall and approximately 180 pounds with brown eyes. His last known location was at Miners Castle on Sept. 23, and was suspected to be kayaking in an orange-colored inflatable kayak. John has ot been heard from since Sept. 22.
