An experimental Alzheimer’s drug modestly slowed the brain disease’s inevitable worsening, researchers reported Tuesday — but it remains unclear how much difference that might make in people’s lives. MARQUETTE — Tech Coaching for Seniors will be offered from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesdays Dec. 6, 13 and 20 in the Heritage Room of Peter White Public Library in Marquette. Learn how to make your electronic devices work the way you want them to with the help of Christine Ault, retired teacher and librarian, who is also an expert troubleshooter. NCLL light tour offered

MARQUETTE — Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is offering a Christmas Light Bus Tourfrom 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15. Participants should load on the bus at the Berry Event Center, east parking lot. The presenter will be NCLL’s Pat Woods. The cost is $5 for NCLL members/$10 for non-members plus $1 to MarqTran. This will be a bus tour of Marquette’s finest Christmas Light Displays. $1 charge by MarqTran payable the night of the tour. The evening will end with a Dutch treat pizza party at Vangos.
